Booking Periods
There is no set arrival day or departure day. Arrival time is 4pm; departure is 10am.
Short breaks
Long weekends and short breaks with a minimum of 3 nights are fine. Again, arrival time is 4pm; departure is 10am.

Waste Disposal
RUBBISH
The GREEN WHEELIE BIN is emptied on a Thursday morning EARLY. You do not need to move the bin; the collectors will come in and find it.
Please, if you have a significant amount in your kitchen bin, tie the bag and place it in the wheelie bin on a Wednesday night.
The bin is not tipped – bags are lifted out. Please only put full bags in the bin and NEVER small bags (eg dog poo) loose in there. We are charged by the bag.
This bin is for landfill.
Food waste – unfortunately, this is not currently collected, so has to be in with the main rubbish collection. Green, compostable food waste can be collected in the little black bin on the kitchen floor and taken to the garden composter bin just through the gate on the right. No meat or fish, please.

Please put all plastic (including soft plastics), tin, cardboard and paper in here. Please clean tin and plastic first to deter smells and rats.

Please put all glass items in here.
NAPPIES can be bagged and put in a carrier bag (i.e. double bagged) and hung off the green wheelie bin.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome, almost essential(!), and cost £15 each up to a maximum of £30, but, within reason, bring as many dogs as you like. Cats and other pets are not allowed.
Communications
There is limited wifi, but you may choose to turn it off. You can use it for emailing, for Whatsapp calls, but not for streaming live tv. We believe that the wonderful benefit of peace is a clear reminder that nature is the ruler.
There is negligible mobile signal which allows you to get on with the real reason for living in and enjoying the countryside. There is, of course, a landline which is essential in an emergency.
The landline has no inclusive minutes, and is for essential calls only.

There is an honesty box. Please be realistic (standard landline/mobile calls are charged at 30p per minute).
You can get a mobile signal on the beach and, sometimes, in the garden.
