This is our self-catering cottage, Millook Water, in a quiet valley in North Cornwall.
You can’t get better than this: woodland outside the back door, a stream in the garden, the beach with rockpools full of prawns, crabs and lobsters – read on!
Where we are
Millook Water is on the north coast of Cornwall just 4 hours from London, 6 miles from Boscastle and 5 miles from Bude.
The Valley
Millook Valley is untouched in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its ancient woods are mainly owned by the Woodland Trust.

The cottage is set in its own private garden with a stream.
The wild wood is 50 metres from the house; the wild sea is 200 metres away.
